EMU!: "Residency Permit" Procedures for New Students [...and old students]

Please be informed that residency permit procedures commenced at EMU Student Services Office as of  13 October 2014. State Hospital, and State Immigration Office (District Office) personnel will be at the Student Services Office to give residency permits between 13 October and 14 November.

Working Hours:
State Hospital: 09:00-11:45 (Monday-Friday)
State Immigration Office: 09:00-12:00 ile 13:00-14:00 (Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday)
                                             09:00-12:00 and 14:00-16:00 (Thursday)

Required Documents:

1. Student certificate to be obtained from the Registrar’s Office.

2. Health Report (original copy) (for newly registered students only)

P.S.: First, you must obtain a “Health Referral Document” from the Immigration Office desk and then do the payment at the State Hospital desk (135 TL).

3. 1 passport-sized photograph

4.  * Dormitory record sheet (for students who reside in student dormitories)
     * Students residing off-campus are required to fill in an “Immovable Property Rent Declaration” form at EMU Student Services Office

5. Original passport and a photocopy of the relevant pages (the page with your photo, the page that shows the expiry date, place issued, (if renewal) the previous pages of the resident permit and the information page).

6. 1 Revenue stamp valued 10 TL

7.  Immigration fee – 95 TL for 1 year (payable at Tax Office only).
