"Education is the way forward, Younger people the key": TRNC President Mustafa Akinci

President Mustafa Akinci released a statement to mark the 19th May Ataturk Remembrance, Youth and Sports Day. He said the main aim was to prepare a better, brighter future for the youth and it was with this in mind that he celebrated the day.

Akinci said it was our biggest responsibility to create opportunities for younger generations to grow up well and to save them from an uncertain future.

It was possible to make progress with younger people who were better educated, he said.
