17th Orientation Program | Campus Tour | Famagusta Tour | Cocktail Party [PICS]

Today saw over 1000 New Students from different nationalities shown around Eastern Mediterranean University by the accredited members of the Directorate of Social and Cultural Activities EMU.

The Campus Tour started from the offices of the Directorate of Social and Cultural Activities and followed the route of Library - Students Services - Sports Affairs - Health Center - Psychological Counseling, Guidance and Research Center.

The New Students were filled with awe and excitement over the huge expanse of property owned by EMU and used by Students. Some of them asked some funny questions:

"So as i have paid my school fees, everything is free, including food?" asked one Nigerian New Student.

All in all, it was a warm and beautiful atmosphere at the different tours today (Pictures below). However, it should be noted that registered students of EMU have free access to all buildings, activities and social services provided by EMU anywhere on Campus, including but not limited to Health Insurance and Free Guidance and Counseling.

At the conclusion of the Campus Tour, the New Students also went to tour the City of Famagusta in North Cyprus. The Famagusta Tour started at about 2:30pm with tour buses leaving from same Directorate of Social and Cultural Activities center EMU.

Today's Orientation event will end with a Cocktail Party for all New Students at
EMU BEACH CLUB.
Time of Event: 7:30 - 10:00pm
Venue: EMU Beach Club
*Family members of all New Students are also welcome.

TOMORROW'S EVENT:
Nicosia/Kyrenia Tour
Time: 08:30am - 5:00pm
Buses will leave from the Social and Cultural Activities Directorate at said time.
