NEU Communal Research and Development Centre: Women’s Entrepreneurship Project is Continuing

Organised through the joint cooperation of NEU Communal Research and Development Centre, which functions under the body of Near East University Centre of Excellence, and Beyarmudu Municipality, the “Women’s Entrepreneurship Project” is continuing.

According to the press release issued by the Directorate of Press and Public Relations of Near East University, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Tülen Saner, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Zehra Altınay and Assoc. Prof. Dr. Fahriye Altınay gave seminars to women as part of the activities held for the second week of the Project.

Head of NEU Tourism Research Centre, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Tülen Saner, gave detailed information on leadership and motivation, and added that the Founding Rector of Near East University, Dr. Suat Günsel, presented a good example of a person with the qualities of a leader. Furthermore, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Saner gave information on self-actualisation and relative examples from daily life, giving the attendants of the seminar beneficial information.

On the other hand, Co-Chairman of the Communal Research and Development Centre, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Zehra Altınay drew attention on constituents of organisational culture. Moreover, she gave further information on organisational image, slogan and perception management in organisations.

In addition to the above, Co-Chairman of the Communal Research and Development Centre, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Fahriye Altınay, provided quite detailed information on entrepreneurship and the usage of technology. Furthermore, she touched upon issues related to ‘children and technology’ and emphasized the significance of time management and productivity in technology usage.
