ETHIOPIAN RUNNER Ahmet Kassahum stormed to victory at the 9th Limassol Marathon. Kassahum, representing Cyprus, finished the race in just 2:46.05.
Kassahum has won the marathon four times, and taken part seven times.
Michael Keenan from Cyprus finished second in 2:51:04 and Greek national Karavasilis Vlassis came third with 2:57:17.
The Marathon has attracted more than 10,000 participants, of whom about 1,500 runners came from other countries, such as European countries, Japan, US, Brazil, Australia, China and Turkey.
