‘Dog ownership permit’ to be enforced by Kyrenia Municipality

Kyrenia Municipality issued an announcement last weekend reminding the dog owners that they need to acquire a “Dog Ownership Permit” through the Health Department of the TRNC.

The municipality warned that the dog owners who fail to get the permit will face legal charges. In the statement it is said that in order to get the “Dog Ownership Permit”; Vaccination card and “Dog ID” approved by the Veterinary Department were needed.

The fees for the permits range from 12TL to 35TL with 35TL for female dogs and 12TL of spayed male dogs.
