NEU Department of Public Relations and Advertising organised an Event for mentally challenged Children


Department of Public Relations and Advertising of Faculty of Communication of Near East University organised a social responsibility project to support the children who have developed differently.

According to the press release issued by the directorate of Press and Public Relations Office of Near East University, the event was organised with a slogan as “Let them Continuously Smile”, and it involved Özev children drawing pictures regarding their dreams.

Academic Member of NEU Faculty of Communication, Ufuk Altunç; Art Therapist, Bahar Çıralı; and Teachers of Özev, along with students of Near East University (NEU), organised a project to raise awareness regarding children that have developed differently by enabling an activity to look at life through their eyes, through their perspective. It was revealed that Altunç made a statement on the matter and expressed that their aim was to show the community that children who developed differently can be productive and that they had made the children’s pictures, drawn at the event, into postcards.
