Near East University [NEU] opens 25 new departments
According to a press statement released by the Press and Public Relations Directorate of Near East University, all newly opened departments have been approved and accredited by YOK and YODAK will accept applications of students for 2015-2016 academic year.
According to the press statement, 6 new departments were opened under the body of NEU Health Services Vocational School.
The new departments are:
*Electroneurophysiology Physiotherapy,
*Veterinary Sciences,
*Orthopedic Prosthetics and Orthotics,
*Perfusion Techniques
*Pathology Laboratory Techniques.
The teaching/training period is two years. There are extensive employment opportunities for graduates of these departments as qualified health technicians who provide significant support to doctors are trained at these departments, utilizing all the most up-to-date and advanced medical techniques and life-long learning facilities.
Yeter Tabur, General Secretary of NEU, said that the total number of the departments of NEU has reached to 160 and this number is the highest in the nearby geography. Tabur also said that students can register to departments of Health Sciences with their GCE A level ve IGCSE-GCSE O level results and for other departments, can take the Student Placement and Scholarship Exam which will be administered on 6 June 2015.
