New City Mall Shopping Centre to be opened in Famagusta TRNC

The first City Mall shopping centre is planned to be constructed in Famagusta. According to reports, a way has been found to bypass the embargoes for international brands to open new stores in the mall.

According to Turkish daily ‘Sabah’, the international brands that would like to open a store in the TRNC, will have their branch offices in Mersin, Turkey and in this way, will not have any problems investing in the country, which remains unrecognised by the international community.

The paper writes that the City Mall project will be undertaken by the Electrokur Company and will cost 15 million euro. The City Mall will consist of 60 stores and a 9 theatre cinema.
