On Saturday July 25th 2015, the maiden edition of "ON DA HOT SEAT with..." took place online, on the facebook group 'Forum for elites'

The first person on the hot seat was the president NSS-EMU, Mr Salim Hamza Ringim, also the Senate-President of NANS-TR. Mr Salim surprised all participants by the way he took each question and answered it to the best of his knowledge and interpretation.

When asked the singular most important issue bothering Nigerian students in TRNC, He answered 'the cases we receive most from our students is issues apartment issues with landlords.' meaning the issue of accommodation is the single most important issue bothering Nigerian students in TRNC.

During the course of the interview it was revealed that the Food Bank program which was initiated by the last regime was continued and still in effect. Mr Salim implored anyone that need assistance in food area to contact him directly on Facebook or any of the NSS executives.

It was not all serious questions, Mr Salim also revealed having a fiancee in Nigeria whom he is engaged to,  when asked a question whether he has a girlfriend. Mr Salim graduated from the Economics department of EMU with a cGPA of  3.47 / 4.00

"There was also an increase in the number of students accommodating other students on their own volition without payment or interest" he added. "I will further my education in North Cyprus" the Nss-Emu president pointed out when asked on the next level for him in TRNC.
