Municipality of Famagusta begins distribution of water to city again

The Municipality of Famagusta has begun the distribution of water again following the repair of a burst water main on the line from Guzelyurt.

A statement from the municipality said that after the burst water main between Dogancik and Serhatkoy was repaired, water has begun coming to the city from Guzelyurt once more. The statement went on to say that they would be implementing a programmed distribution as they had done before and the areas to receive water first would be Karakol followed by Tuzla and then the other areas.

Due to the fault at the Sea water irrigation plant and the continuation of this fault, the unit is still not functioning as required.
