NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg expresses strong hope for a Cyprus settlement.

On a recent interview with reporters, the NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg evaluated the Cyprus negotiations process and expressed optimism in a fruitful outcome as soon as possible.

Welcoming the efforts towards reaching a political solution on the Cyprus issue, the NATO Executive said that a real chance existed in Cyprus for a solution.

According to him, 'There are some developments and several uncertainties remaining. We saw initiatives in the past but however today there is a real chance for reaching a soultion in Cyprus because this time around, everyone is taking it very seriously'
