Cyprus Meteorological Services warns of more stormy weather on the way in TRNC

Weather officials say afternoon storms on Tuesday and strong winds on the coasts will be followed by more rain on Wednesday and Thursday before fine weather returns.

Cyprus Meteorological Services official said, “The strong winds will be particularly focused on the north and west coasts. This kind of rain and wind is not unusual for this time of year.”

Green Monday was marked by particularly strong cold weather and winds and rain and thunderstorms around Cyprus from the early hours onwards.

According to the official forecast, temperatures will reach 18 °C inland and on the west coast on Tuesday, 19 °C on the other coasts and 7 °C in the mountains with localized showers and isolated thunderstorms around the island.

Isolated showers are also expected on Wednesday and Thursday.
