EMU BUS SERVICE: 2014/2015 Transportation, Route, Rules and Time [UPDATED]
As a campus- city university, Eastern Mediterranean University is fully dedicated to providing efficient and dynamic transportation services to its students 60% of whom reside in different parts of the city. The university transportation services, both on and off the campus, are offered free of charge for our students.
Our developed and highly dynamic fleet provides transportation services to various city zones through 5 distinct routes. Students can also benefit from non-stop on-campus ring services scheduled in line with the class hours. The University also provides transportation services for academic or promotional events as well as trips taking place within the framework of the civic involvement projects.
The EMU Transportation Unit (EMUTU) coordinates and follows up all kinds of internal and external transportation requirements that need to be fulfilled.
The EMUTU provides the necessary transportation and drivers to fulfill all suitable demands and requests made by departments and units. In accordance with the EMU Rectorate's Decisions and Mission, the Transportation Unit organises and runs transportation services for students and personnel. It is the duty of the Transportation Unit to make sure that all traffic rules, regulations and diversions are abided. When providing these services, the safety of drivers and equipment are taken into consideration and are supervised accordingly. Furthermore, the Transportation Unit continuously strives to improve and develop the quality of services provided.
