We all start our day with brush and toothpaste. We all are well aware of the typical uses of our toothpaste, but only a few knows about its secret and hidden uses which can change your thoughts and view about your toothpaste. I bet, the next time when you be holding your toothpaste tube in your hand, you will be thinking once about it differently.

Hidden & Unknown Uses of Toothpaste:

1. Toothpaste as a Cream: Yes, your regular toothpaste can also be used as a cream on your face. Funny? Right? But, If you apply some of your toothpaste on your face and wash it after a few minutes, it will help reduce your pimples like any costly cosmetic item. Why not give it a try? There is not any side effects after all.

2. Mouth Freshener: Your simple toothpaste can also be used as a good mouth freshener. It can be used just after you had onions, garlic or meat which could lead bad breath in you. Just apply your toothpaste on your teeth and gargle after a few seconds. It really works!

3. Anti-burning Effect: May be you didn’t know but your toothpaste has an amazing quality. It can be used as any anti-burning cream when your skin is scorched by flame. You just need to apply some toothpaste over the burnt surface and you will feel the burning sensation reduced instantly. And more importantly it won’t let the blisters form after burning. Isn’t it cool?

4. Stinged by an Insect: It can give you relief from the sheer pain if you are stinged by any bee or other insect. Just apply your toothpaste over and get relaxed instantly.

5. Cleans Dirt from Clothes: Either you have spilled coffee on your shirt or it’s any other stubborn spot. Just apply some toothpaste on the spot and let it be dried. After some moment just rub it with a wet cloth and you will find the spot vanished.

6. Shine Your Shoes: I know, it sounds a bit strange and weird, but believe me it really works. Just apply some toothpaste on your shoes and brush over it. After this, rub them with a wet soft cloth. It gives your shoes a nice shine which stays longer than regular boot polishes.

7. Polish Silver Ornaments: Your toothpaste can also be used as a polish for your silver jewelries, just apply and rub with a soft cloth. It will give it a lustrous shine.

8. Spruce up dirty shoes. This tactic works great on running shoes or scuffed-up leather shoes. As with carpet stains, apply toothpaste directly to the dirty or scuffed area, then scrub with a brush and wipe clean.

9. Remove crayon stains on painted walls. Rub a damp cloth with toothpaste gently on the marked-up wall and watch the Crayola marks disappear.

10. Remove scratches on DVDs and CDs. This remedy has been used with mixed success rates, but it seems to work fairly well on shallow scratches and smudges. Apply a thin coating of toothpaste to the disc and rub gently, then rinse clean.
