EMU English Language Teaching Department Awarded Honour Certificates to Successful Students

Eastern Mediterranean University Education Faculty English Language Teaching Department organised a certificate ceremony for honor and high honor students on 25 December 2014.

Students who demonstrated outstanding academic performance during the previous semester received their high-honor and honor certificates during the ceremony which was organised by EMU English Language Teaching Department chair Prof. Dr. Gülşen Musayeva Vefalı, academic staff member Ahmet Hıdıroğlu, department’s administrative assistant Ece Zorba Barışsal and research assistants Merve Uysal and T. Emmanuel Akınmulegun.

In her opening address, Prof. Dr. Gülşen Musayeva Vefalı stated the department’s efforts in providing every kind of support and contribution for the students’ success. Prof. Dr. Gülşen Musayeva Vefalı also added that their ultimate aim is to bring up self-confident English language teachers who demonstrate sensitivity towards the community problems.

Following the distribution of the certificates, the ceremony ended with a cocktail reception.
