A Plaque of Appreciation From Cyprus Nigerian Students Association to GAU.


Cyprus Nigerian Students Association formed by Nigerian students has presented a plaque of appreciation to GAU.

The presentation of the plaque of appreciation was realized in GAU Cyprus Kyrenia Campus Rectorate building to CEO and Vice-Chancellor of Board of Administrators Assist. Prof. Dr. Asım Vehbi on behalf of GAU by Emmanual Emmanual on behalf of Cyprus Nigerian Students Association.

CEO and Vice-Chancellor of Board of Administrators Assist. Prof. Dr. Asım Vehbi has stated that there is a significant increase in foreign student population of GAU and he emphasized that there were up to students from 85 different countries last year studying in GAU which this year the number is increased to 100. Vehbi also underlined that Nigerian student population is holding a serious fraction in the total and that GAU is an international university which keeps the fine balance between the cultures balanced. Vehbi further stated that the cultural varieties helps students to enhance their personal developments positively and that each of the cultural values must be sustained through the realizing important days.

Vehbi finally thanked the Cyprus Nigerian Association for their kind act and wished the best of luck for the students during the new semester.
