“The Global Award for Perfection, Quality & Ideal Performance” has been granted to NEU Hospital in Berlin

In recognition of its commitment to quality and excellence, France based Otherways Management Consulting Association presented the Global Award for Perfection, Quality & Ideal Performance to Near East University Hospital at the ceremony held in Berlin, the capital city of Germany.

According to the press release issued by the Directorate of Press and Public Relations Office of NEU (Near East University Nicosia, Cyprus), NEU Board of Trustees Chairman Assoc. Prof. Dr. İrfan S. Günsel was attended the international conference and award ceremony that organized by Otherways Management & Consulting Association (OMAC) and realized in Berlin by the participation of the members of reputable and leading organizations from more than fifty countries.

Near East University Hospital was deemed worthy for the Award for Perfection, Quality & Ideal Performance in recognition of achieving to expand its high standard health services so as to cover not only its country and people, but also people of five continents by virtue of the quality achieved in health and well established collaborations within the short time since its establishment. NEU Board of Trustees Chairman Assoc. Prof. Dr. İrfan S. Günsel was presented the award at the gala ceremony realized by international participation.

On behalf of Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus and NEU, Assoc. Prof. Dr. İrfan S. Günsel delivered a speech at the conference held in Germany’s capital Berlin. Pointing to the cutthroat service competition in education and health as well as in other sectors in today’s world, he drew attention to the decisive role of quality, excellence and absolute value attached on people in this rivalry. “Within the scope of its fundamental objectives, the Near East University and NEU Hospital has been carrying out international activities covering mainly the fields of education, technology, health and tourism over five continents. By virtue of these activities, effective collaboration covering these fields has been established with many countries. International conferences and meetings provide us platforms to further develop our international collaborations. Day by day, we are expanding the collaboration activities so as to cover continents. I’m proud and happy with all these notable developments on behalf of my country. In virtue of the perseverance and diligence of its people, the Republic of Northern Cyprus with its created values as well as with its successful applications in health, education and tourism sectors has become a preferred and qualified stakeholder. It will continue to further the globally accepted standards and deliver its created values primarily to its people and the entire world” said he.

In his speech, Günsel indicated that the award which was deemed worthy for Near East University Hospital had a great sentimental value and underlined that its honor belonged to Turkish Cypriot People. “Receiving such international awards at such quality international meetings that organized in major cities by reputable organizations raises not only the Near East University but it also glorifies Turkish Cypriots, our country and our state Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus. Turkish Cypriot people continue to open to the world with outstanding efforts. The services that we produce and offer to the world are in demand and at a very preferable point. To this end, we will continue to work, produce and strive together with our people” noted he.

Indicating that the awards received on behalf of TRNC were symbolic, Günsel stated that these awards had a rather crucial role in introducing the achievements of our people to the world. “The Global Award for Perfection, Quality & Ideal Performance, which presented to NEU hospital today on behalf of our country, is an important indicator in terms of demonstrating the sustainability of our accomplishments that we have achieved at international platforms with our people so far” said he.

North Cyprus is an alternative for Medical Tourism….

Highlighting that Near East University Hospital provides safe and affordable healthcare services that comply with international standards, Günsel pointed out that many international patients suffering from cancer, heart failure, or other serious life threatening diseases or for transplantation procedures preferred North Cyprus for their treatments. “North Cyprus has become an alternative medical tourism center” concluded he.
