“Engraving Days 4” Organised by Eastern Mediterranean University Fine Arts Club


Organised by Eastern Mediterranean University Fine Arts Club and taking place under the curatorship of the Club trainer Ayhatun Ateşin, Engraving Days 4 commenced on Friday, 17 April  2015.

During the event, experienced artists Artın Demirci, Umut Germeç, Mustafa Öztunç, Kadir Selçuk Yaşa, Mediha Sevinç, Hikmet Uluçam, Mesut Eren, İlkay Önsoy, Cevdet Alparslan, Nurtane Karagil, İpek Denizli Karagöz and Ayhatun Ateşin exhibited their technical and artistic skills as well as experiences to interested participants.

The event which will provide an wonderful environment for art-lovers will continue until 22 April.  Works of art created within the framework of the workshop will be added to EMU’s collection. At 4:30 p.m. on 24 April 2015, the opening of an exhibition entitled “Engravings of Famagusta”  will take place at EMU Activity Hall.

Ayhatun Ateşin stated that EMU Fine Arts Club aims to provide an environment for art lovers and students to observe artistic skills as well as learn about the experiences of the masters of arts. Ateşin also added that they also endeavor to raise awareness regarding arts.
