Student of EMU Health Sciences Faculty Received “Mete Adanır Player of the Year Award”

Ali Osman Nurettin, student of Eastern Mediterranean University Health Sciences Faculty, received “Mete Adanır Player of the Year Award” at “Annual Sports Awards” ceremony  organised by the Cyprus Turkish Sports Columnists Association.

Expressing the faculty’s pleasure in Nurettin’s success, EMU Health Sciences Faculty Acting Dean Prof. Dr. Mehtap Malkoç presented a plaque of appreciation to Nurettin on 22 June 2015. During the event, Nurettin expressed his happiness in receiving an award as such and stated that behind his success and self-confidence is  the high quality education offered to him in EMU.

Nurettin has successfully been representing both Eastern Mediterranean University and the TRNC as a player in the university’s volleyball team and Turkish national beach volleyball team.
