Students of Eastern Mediterranean University [EMU] Mark World Milk Day


Eastern Mediterranean University Community Involvement Center introduced another civic involvement project. EMU Communication and Media Studies Faculty, Public Relations and Advertising Department final year students Ozan Üstüntaş, Gökçe Tahta and Hakan Yaman visited Famagusta Development Academy Atatürk Pre-school and Nursery within the framework of their ‘Graduation Project’ course.

During the event which took place within the framework of the “World Milk Day” on 21 May Friday, students of Communication and Media Studies Faculty spent moments filled with entertainment with the students of the aforesaid school. As part of the event, a clown visited the school, played with the kids and told the kids about the importance of drinking milk. A video screening explaining the importance of drinking milk through cartoon characters also took place. Then, the visiting group distributed milk to the studens. Following this activity, students of EMU Communication and Media Studies Faculty visited students in their classes and gave them coloring books as gifts.


School Principal Havva Onaç thanked the visiting group of students for choosing their school and wished them all the success in their future projects.
