Old Kyrenia Akcicek Hospital TRNC to be used as drug rehabilitation center

The old Kyrenia Akcicek Hospital is being turned into the Struggle with drugs, treatment and rehabilitation centre.

Health minister Ahmet Gulle has said that after the necessary renovations are made the building will serve at a rehabilitation and treatment centre for drugs.

Gulle noted that the Ministry had worked in cooperation with the Drugs Prevention commission recently on a study which found that prevention of drug abuse needed to be state policy. He said that it was with this in mind that the old hospital could be used to treat drug abusers in the best possible way.
