Eastern Mediterranean University [EMU] Expands Its Bus Fleet


With the purchase of 2 brand-new intercity buses, Eastern Mediterranean University Transportation Affairs Unit has increased the number of buses in its transportation fleet to 8. Developed with the latest technology, the newly purchased disabled friendly buses boast 12-meter design award. Each of the low emission buses have the capacity for 102 passengers.

Students of Eastern Mediterranean University may benefit from free intercity bus services until 11:30 p.m. both during the week and at weekends. The University also provides hourly on-campus ring services until 6:30 p.m. Every day, between 6500 and 7000 students benefit from University’s bus services.

The University has plans for further expanding its transportation fleet with new vehicles.
