UPDATE: Announcement from the Rector`s Office - Student Registration Procedure.

As announced before, 2015-2016 Academic Year Fall Semester course registration period with advisors is between 1 and 2 October, 2015 (Thursday and Friday). As you know, the course pre-registration period commenced on 11 August 2015 and finishes today (30 September 2015). We would like to kindly remind you about the following important points to have a problem-free and peaceful registration period:

        • Those students who completed their online pre-course registrations are also expected to visit their advisors for the course registration approval procedure on 1 and 2 October.

        • To avoid long queues of students trying to obtain course registration access in front of the Financial Affairs Directorate, we advise you all to find out about your outstanding payments (if any) to the university from the Student Portal and close your debts latest by 30 September 2015 (today). If you do this, your access for course registration will be automatically granted, you will avoid queues and complete your course registration procedures with your advisors. Otherwise, you will experience difficulties both in making payments and completing your course registration procedures on the registration dates.

         • As also stated in the Academic Calendar, students who have not completed their registration procedures (those who paid for the tuition fee but have not obtained the course approval from their advisors) by 1 and 2 October will be subject to a late registration penalty, which is 30 USD per day. In order to avoid this situation, you are kindly advised to complete your registration procedures latest by 2 October 2015. 

         • Please be reminded that if you have not completed your course registration but attend classes, no official procedures regarding your courses, course-related activities or exams both within and at the end of the semester will be applied.

         • The “Course Registration Period with Advisors” will finish on 19 October 2015, the last day of Add-Drop period.
