OPINION: Ofhand Entertainment TRNC apologizes to fans for non-performance and disservice

My name is Anonymous and i am here to air my view on the events of last weekend. How could something that had all the hallmarks of success, all of a sudden collapse in all frontiers with abysmal failure and disservice? These and many more questions were  on the lips of party goers on Friday 30th October 2015 when the artistes, Lil Kesh and LAX, that were advertised by the Ofhand group failed to show up to perform.

It begs the question of what went wrong? How did it all collapse abysmally? What really happened?

There were insinuations of unpaid artists fees for both Lil Kesh and LAX. There were also insinuations of a directive from YBNL Nigeria for the artists not to perform, still due to Unpaid Artists Fees. Earlier on before the show, there was a total breakdown in the organizational structure of Ofhand Group. Artists were left starving, hungry, accommodations were not arranged and finalized before the artists came to Cyprus. In fact one is left to wonder whether this was pre-destined not to go smoothly as there were so many complications and disorganization surrounding the show.

Suffice to say that the DAVIDO SHOW before the Lilkesh & LAX Show that was organized by arguably matured minds, Xbuff  Entertainment was a TOTAL SUCCESS. The Davido show was too good the artist himself refused to leave and performed till wee morning.

Jubril Arogundade is a show and artist promoter in TRNC and, to his credit, had organized more successful shows and concerts than any other entertainment group in Cyprus. We might not know the full details of what actually went wrong in the case of LAX and Lilkesh but we must point out that a very bad thing happened in TRNC this past weekend.

Needless to say party goers are angry, sad, disappointed and above all regretful with the organization of Ofhand and co. Some close friends paid for VIP tickets to see LAX & Lilkesh, not some bunch of local student performers. Will they get a REFUND? Will they be COMPENSATED??

Too many questions, too few answers. As a responsible patriot, i would like to suggest to the Ofhand Group, in order to redeem their image; They should immediately put out a press release explaining what happened in detail and assuring VIP ticket holders of using their tickets for subsequent shows/concerts.

To whom much is given, much is expected. The earlier this issue is given the priority it deserves, the better for everybody involved, including and most especially Ofhand Group.
