WEATHER UPDATE: More cold and possible light snow expected in TRNC this week

According to latest report from the TRNC Meteorology Department, as reported by BRT, TRNC residents are warned that temperatures will plummet further starting this week. According to the report, The Island is expected to be hit by a new cold and wet weather front.

Also expected are scattered rain storms and possible snow on higher and lower plains of the Island. Temperatures are expected to drop as much as 3'C at nights, which will feel as -3'C and highs of 16'C during daytime.

As usual, residents are cautioned to dress appropriately and take all precautions to avoid falling sick. Drivers are also warned to drive cautiously during this cold period.
