TRNC holds its first ever International Cycling Tour [PHOTOS & VIDEO]

Citizens and residents of TRNC were treated to spectacular sights on Friday and Saturday on the streets of TRNC. The event was the first International  Cycling tour of North Cyprus. The event which started on Friday 19th February and is expected to end on Sunday 21st Feb led to the closure of roads and highways at different times of the day as the participating Cyclists zoomed past in search of glory.

According to a released bulletin from the organizers, a total of 11 teams from 5 countries, including Germany, Turkey, Bulgaria and Serbia are participating in the 3 day event.

The winner, that will be unveiled on Sunday 21st February at the Grand Finale in Lefkosa, will go home with the winning prize money of $5,000.000 USD
