30.4% of students studying at Faculty of Health Sciences awarded with Honor and H.Honor Certificate

500 students of NEU Faculty of Health Sciences, who were deemed worthy to receive Honor Certificate and High Honor Certificate due to their success in the Spring Term of 2014-2015 academic year and in the Fall Term of 2015-2016 academic year,received their certificates with a ceremony held at NEU Atatürk Culture and Congress Center (AKKM).

According to the press release issued by the Directorate of Press and Public Relations Office of Near East University, Prof. Dr. Sevinç Yücecan, the Founding Dean of Faculty of Health Sciences, delivered information regarding the issue. “41 students from the Department of Nutrition and Dietetics, 23 students from the Department of Physiotherapy and Rehabilitation, 65 students from the Department of Nursing in Turkish, 14 students from the Department of Nursing in English, and 21 students from the Department of Management of Health Institutions were awarded with High Honor Certificate. 64 students from the Department of Nutrition and Dietetics, 54 students from the Department of Physiotherapy and Rehabilitation, 161 students from the Department of Nursing in Turkish, 26 students from the Department of Nursing in English, and 17 students from the Department of Management of Health Institutions were awarded with Honor Certificate.

In Academic Year 2014-2015, the Faculty of Health Sciences opened new departments comprising the Department of Emergency and Disaster Management, Department of Midwifery, Department of Occupational Therapy, and the Department of Audiology. 4 students from the Department of Emergency and Disaster Management, 2 students from the Department of Midwifery, 2 students from the Department of Occupational Therapy, and 6 students from the Department of Audiology were deemed worthy for Honor Certificate” said the dean.
