Kabana Club: New RnB club in Kyrenia, TRNC

A few weeks ago a new nightspot opened in the centre of Kyrenia. Kabana Club is basically a RnB club, but it also offers other styles of music depending on the night. The club’s owners Erkan Kadioglu and Charlie Cruz says that Kabana Club differs from other clubs in North Cyprus. The spacious venue, for example, does not have standing tables, as most other clubs where this is more or less standard.

– We do not want people to stand still and hang around at the tables all night. We have several couches and tables with chairs, for those who wish to sit, otherwise we have a large dance floor, where there is always a party with dancing into the early hours of the morning.

Emre Karpuz, who’s an event organizer at Kabana, says that they will arrange different theme nights every week, but Fridays are always Hip Hop and RnB.

– We are the only RnB club in Kyrenia and we want people who appreciate the music to feel comfortable here and always know what they are getting.

The premises are modernly furnished with chairs upholstered in red and white leather and mirrored ceilings. Lamps vary in different neon colours and the music thumps out from the lavish speakers. There is also a large terrace with tables for those who want to sit outdoors.

Kabana Club is open from 12pm every day until late. You can find it behind Mr. Pound in the west of Kyrenia.
