Nigerian Community Turkey passes a vote of confidence on President Erdogan 'in support of Democratic Government...'

On July 19 2016, The Nigerian Community in Turkey (NICOT) had a peaceful demostration at the Taksim Square in support of Turkish President Erdogan and his ruling AKP Party after the botched coup attempt on the nation.

The Nigerian community which was led by their able president, Prince E. Magboh waved banners, flags and posters in full support of democracy and the rule of law in Turkey.

As has been widely reported in the media, around 22:00 on 15 July 2016, a military coup was launched in Turkey. The coup which saw Turkey's main bridges closed to traffic and parliament buildings bombed didn't succeed in ousting President Erdogan.
