A Meaningful Activity from the Students of EMU Psychology Department


A group of volunteer students from Eastern Mediterranean University Psychology Department participated in a project entitled OYAKAMP Cyprus 2014 “Integrating Individuals with Different Developmental Stages into Life”.

Volunteer students who started the camp with a training session offered by Turkish Autism Foundation participated in activities supporting the psycho-social development of individuals with different developmental stages.

Students who were involved in the project which was initiated by EMU Psychology Department academic staff member and EMU Developmental Psychology Postgraduate Program coordinator Assoc. Prof. Dr. Biran Mertan gained experience in working with individuals with different developmental stages through various methods such as arts, therapy and psychodrama.
