A Seminar on “Effective CV Writing and Interview Techniques” by EMU Alumni Communications and Career Research Center

Within the framework of the “Student Development Program”, Eastern Mediterranean University Alumni Communications and Career Research Directorate organised a seminar entitled “Effective CV Writing and Interview Techniques”.

Targeted towards prospective graduates with the aim of preparing them for their upcoming professional lives, the seminar was delivered by North Cyprus Turkcell Staff Relations Management Specialist Havva Başkan, who provided detailed information on the techniques of preparing effective CVs and interview techniques.

As an expert in the field, Havva Başkan shared her expertise on the methods of writing effective CVs,  hints for effective CV writing, types of CVs, things to be done prior to and after the interview and possible interview questions. Havva Başkan also provided valuable recommendations for a successful professional life. Başkan also stressed the importance of setting short and long term targets as well as acting in a planned way.

At the end of the seminar, EMU Alumni Relations and Career Research Directorate staff member Cemal Kılıç presented a plaque of appreciation to Havva Başkan for her contributions.
