Ever wondered why Victoria Beckham never smiles? Finally she answers... [VIDEO]
Beckham reveals she begins each day by checking on her four children and with a 6 a.m. workout. She also unveils a sly sense of humor. Her most surprising trait? “Comedy gold,” she deadpans.
She definitely knows how to laugh at her former career as a member of the Spice Girls. Asked what one film she could star in, she reminds her interviewer she already had her wish fulfilled.
“I starred in ‘Spice World,’ the movie, and I am still waiting for my Outstanding Achievement Award,” she explains.
Beckham addresses everything from the best next-door neighbor ever, to advice she would give her 13-year-old self in the latest Vogue video. She also dishes on what she loves about her husband and why she never, ever smiles.
Among the morsels revealed:
*She has a pet, Coco Chanel, “the bulldog who lives in L.A.”
*Don’t make her pick between Harry or William. She won’t.
*Heels or flats? Both. Same answer when asked, diamonds or pearls?
*She used to be able to juggle.
*If she could bring one thing to England from the United States, it would be a fanny pack. (Validation for Matthew McConaughey!)
*Her perfect date? A night in with her husband.
*She “absolutely” believes in love at first sight. And at first sight, what made her fall in love with her husband, David Beckham? “Duh!”
*She lives fashion at work and at home: “Mr. Valentino lives next door to me and it doesn't get much better than that."
*Except for when she got to sing with a musical legend: “I’ve dueted with Sir Elton John and it doesn't get much better than that.”
*She would give reassuring advice to her 13-year-old self: “Your skin’s going to clear up and it’s all going to be fine.”
Beckham was also asked the one question she absolutely hates: Why don't you smile?
“I’m smiling on the inside," she explained. "I feel that I have a responsibility to the fashion community.”
