Cyprob solution lies Exclusively in the hands of Cypriots - Assembly speaker Sibel Siber

Speaker of the Assembly and CTP presidential candidate Sibel Siber has said that it was the Turkish Cypriots and the Greek Cypriots who would produce a solution to the Cyprus problem.

Speaking on Turkish TV, she said that that they were the “real actors” in the scenario.

Siber then called on the international community to exert pressure on the Greek Cypriot side to return to the negotiating table. She said that the Turkish Cypriots deserved to be part of that international community after the struggles they have endured.

She spoke of the embargoes and isolation of the North, where even the local football teams struggled to play in international games.
