Near East University Hospital provides the latest and state-of-the-art technique for hair transplant
Hair transplant has lately become a popular aesthetics application amongst men. The saying “makeup of a man is his hair” shows the importance that men attach on their hair. Hair transplant is now offered at TRNC via the newly opened Near Estetica Center.
According to the press release from the Directorate of Press and Public Relations Office of NEU (Near East University Nicosia, Cyprus), in the line with the advancements in transplantation techniques, hair transplantation has become more comfortable for patients. Hair Transplantation is a medical procedure and should be performed in hospital environments. Each sustainable and aesthetically satisfactory hair transplant needs a careful procedure and working strategy. Being aware the fact that the best quality and proper results can be achieved by expert and experienced physicians at hair transplant clinics, the Near Estetica Center of NEU Hospital offers hair transplants to patients by constantly keeping their quality and comfort on a high level. At an initial consultation, patients are generally subjected to a mini check-up in terms of general health. These standards are essential for patient’s health and a successful result.
Healthy hair transplantation is now in Cyprus
The Near East University has brought Near Estetica Center into service on January 24, 2015. The Center offers the latest techniques in hair transplantation to maximize the aesthetic impact of the hair restoration. Not only the hair health but also the general healths of patients are observed during the preoperative procedure and throughout all process. All requirements for proper hair transplantation are carried out carefully, hygienic and quality services are offered to the people of Cyprus.
Hair is completely restored in a year
Keeping up with and adopting the latest medical technologies, the Near East University Hospital offers the newest technique called Follicular Unit Extraction (FUE) for hair transplantation. Hair restoration is based on follicular transplantation. Individual hair follicles are harvested from a part of the body called the ‘donor site’ and implanted to bald or balding part of the body known as the ‘recipient site’. Follicular Unit Extraction has revolutionized the field and has led to the modern techniques that are now used by physicians around the world. In Follicular Unit Extraction (FUE), individual follicular units containing 1 to 4 hairs are harvested one-by-one from the back and sides of the scalp using fine needles between 0.6mm and 0.8 mm in diameter. The surgeon uses very small micro blades or fine needles to puncture the sites for receiving the grafts, placing them in a predetermined density and pattern, and angling the wounds in a consistent fashion to promote a realistic hair pattern. The technicians generally do the final part of the procedure, inserting the individual grafts in place.
In 2-6 week, a shock hair loss is occurred following air transplantation by FUE technique. Then, in 4-8 months follicles will begin producing new hair and the transplant will be fully grown after one year. Quality change continues approximately up to 2 years. Hair loss will not occur again. It is the aesthetic arrangement of these individual follicular unit grafts that enables the surgeon to create the most natural results possible from a hair transplantation procedure.
FUE has many advantages
FUE can give very natural results. The advantage over other hair harvesting techniques is that FUE harvesting negates the need for large areas of scalp tissue to be harvested, so there is no linear incision on the back of the head and it doesn’t leave a linear scar. Because individual follicles are removed, only small, punctuate scars remain which are virtually not visible and any post-surgical pain and discomfort is minimized. Hair follicles transplanted by FUI technique has a natural structure, the patient’s hair will grow normally and continue to thicken. The patient can wash-dry and set hair.
