EMU Faculty of Architecture New Lecture Halls get a Boost via Seminar on Green Construction
Eastern Mediterranean University Architecture Faculty, Design and Research Center is currently working on the new central lecture halls building project. Within the framework of the project initiated with the purpose of the design of the said venue as a green/sustainable building and LEED (green construction) certification from the USA, a seminar and a training organisation took place in EMU.
The seminar was delivered by Cemil Yaman, manager of Erke Design and Consultancy Company, which provides consultancy in LEED certification and in the fields of green and sustainable building, products and materials in Turkey. Cemil Yaman has earned the LEED Platinum certificate for the ERKE Green Academy building.
During the seminar, participants received information about green construction and LEED certification process.
