You are beautiful. While you may not fully accept this – yet, be aware that there are people in the world who perceive your 'gloriousness' based on more than your physical appearance, and Shea Glover is one of them.

The eighteen-year-old from Chicago, Illinois was inspired to capture the faces of people she considers beautiful, and the humble collection (in the video below) is the result.

All those featured in the video are members of the high school she attends in Illinois. Some are students and faculty she is familiar with while others she did not know at all.

On her YouTube channel, Glover shares that capturing reactions was not the intent behind what turned into a social experiment.

“I want to clarify that my intentions were not to get a reaction out of people. I was simply filming beauty and this is the result.”

Receiving a reminder you are beautiful just as you are can be powerful. Perhaps Shea doesn’t know it, but her project likely brightened the lives of many individuals.
