A Magnificent Concert from World Famous Apple Hill String Quartet


The Apple Hill String Quartet, who are currently in TRNC within the framework of  “Playing For Peace” program, gave a magnificent concert at Bellapais Monastery at 8:00 p.m. on 7 November 2014.

The Apple Hill String Quartet members Elise Kuder, Colleen Jennings, Michael Kelley, Rupert Thompson and director Leonard Matczynski as well as EMU Education Faculty Fine Arts Education Department academic staff member Sinem Sadrazam amazed the audience with their performance on the pieces from Dvorak, Mozart, Hermann and Saygun.  George Georgiou from South Cyprus participated in the concert with clarinet. At the end of the concert, Vice Rector for Student Affairs presented bouqettes to the performers.
