Doomsday Prophecy: World Ends In Seven Years, Theologist Predicts

The end of the world, End Times or what believers termed as the Rapture will happen in seven years, between this very day until 2021 or prior to the Second Coming that is happening between 2018 and 2028, Dr F. Kenston Beshore predicts. Beshore has five doctoral degrees in theology. His predictions are based on his knowledge of the book of Thessalonians and the book of Matthew.

"Rapture" is believed to be a peculiar and catastrophic event that will surpass all calamitous occurrences that happened in the world. The theory is founded on the belief that believers of God will disappear from the Earth suddenly without warning because they will be taken by God to the heaven, Christianity Expert Mary Fairchild wrote. Non-believers who will not be taken to heaven or those who rejected heaven will be left behind on Earth in regret. Others left behind will continue to live in disbelief and will resort on theorising to explain the bewildering event.

He said that there are also messages hidden within the Bible that predicts the time when Rapture shall happen. He said God had always make warnings before any form of destruction in earth. Lot and his family saw signs before the destruction of Sodom and Gomorrah. Jesus had also warned about the destruction of Jerusalem before it happen years after.

Beshore said that even with the most popular belief that Rapture will take place anytime, the teachings in the Bible say otherwise. "The Bible teaches that certain events must take place before the Rapture," he told the Express.

Warnings that Rapture is looming include natural disasters like typhoons, floods, earthquakes and disease outbreak. Indonesia, Japan and California experienced earthquakes from Nov 20-26, Russia's preparation for a nuclear war had been widely reported, the atrocities in the Middle East, the reign of the ISIS, the Ebola outbreak - are just one among the many daily events related to early warning signs of the looming Rapture, as compiled everyday by the website Rapture Ready.

Rapture Ready has an index that is designed to measure different events that could act as signs to the Rapture. The Rapture Index has a list of 45 categories being assessed to rate whether the probability of Rapture is high or low.  The categories include Satanism where Satanic black mass was allowed to be held in Oklahoma city; Supernatural where UFO sightings is continuously increasing; Anti-Christian where Christians in Iraq are being murdered; and Russia's invasion of Ukraine.

Rev Jonathan Blake, Bishop of Greater London dismissed the Rapture theory all together as purely Hollywood scaremongering. He said such claims were only made when religious leaders want to attract more people into their beliefs. He said the influence of religion over people is decreasing, hence scaremongering stories were make to drive people back into religion, "but they were wrong as we now live in an enlightened age."

"These are just imaginative, fantastical and illusionary stories people use to try to express the concept of judgement, their original purpose was perhaps to make people take stock of their lives," Blake told the Express.
