TODAY is Holiday: The 19th of May Ataturk Remembrance Day and Youth and Sports Day

The 19th of May Ataturk Remembrance Day and Youth and Sports Day is being observed in the TRNC as well as Turkey today 19th May 2015.

Events to mark the day is being held all day over the country to celebrate the 96th anniversary. A ceremony is holding in Nicosia. It started at 8.15am  at the Ataturk monument. A second ceremony started at 9.15am at the Ataturk Stadium with the participation of the schools and the public.
