Nigerian Ambassador to Turkey Abdullahi Halliru Wunti visited EMU for the ASGA Awards 2015 [Review]

The event which took place at Rauf Raif Denktaş Culture and Congress Center commenced with African Students Association Chair Selim Hamza’s opening address. Following Hamza, Vice Rector for Promotion Prof. Dr. Hasan Amca delivered a speech and expressed his pleasure in hosting Wunti in EMU. Prof. Dr. Amca also stated that the university boasts a large number of African students, most of whom will be future leaders in Africa. In his address, Wunti expressed his pleasure in visiting the TRNC and EMU.

At the end of the event, Prof. Dr. Amca presented a plaque of appreciation to Wunti. Awards in 32 different categories were presented during the African Students Grand Awards Ceremony.

Prior to African Students Grand Award Ceremony,  EMU Rector Prof. Dr. Necdet Osam welcomed Abdullahi Halliru Wunti at a lunch event organised in honor of Wunti. 

During the organisation, Prof. Dr. Osam provided detailed information about EMU’s faculties and departments, accreditations, campus life and student and faculty profile. Stating his fascination with EMU’s qualities, both academic and infrastructural, Wunti assured Prof. Dr. Osam that they will do their best to increase the student flow from Nigeria to EMU. 

Wunti also took a campus tour with Vice Rector for Promotion Prof. Dr. Hasan Amca, who provided detailed information about  the campus and faculties.
